How to Fix Cracked iPhone 6S for Screen Replacement

There’s a saying going around that you should not quarrel with your girlfriend during these days as the new iPhone is appearing on the market now, she might get too angry and throw the cellphone away whether it’s an old phone or even a new iPhone. And the quarrel will only end when you buy a new phone for her, possibly the new iPhone.

Well, it has already happened in China, a girl was pissed off by her boyfriend and in an argument she threw her brand new Rose Gold iPhone 6S, which she had got just for hours. Does the poor man have to buy her a new iPhone, not necessarily; he can learn to fix his girlfriend’s cracked iPhone 6S with a screen replacement for big savings here:

Tools Needed:
▪ Tweezers

1. Power off the iPhone 6S.
2. Undo the 2 charging port screws with a Pentalobe screwdriver.
3. Pop up the LCD assembly with the help of a Suction Sucker Cup Separator. Be careful on this step as the screen is now held on to the rear housing by four adhesive strips lining the phone.
4. Undo the 4 screws to release the metal protection cover and then gently lift up the flex ribbon connectors to release the whole iPhone 6S LCD assembly.
5. Undo the 2 screws to release the metal bracket above the front facing camera flex ribbon and front speaker.
6. Lift up the front facing camera from the plastic slot.
7. Remove the front speaker.
8. Undo the 6 screws to release the metal LCD back plate.
9. Pry up the home button flex connector and release the home button assembly.
Now replace the broken iPhone 6S screen with a new one in reverse order.
