Samsung released its 2015 flagships the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 in August, which is a month earlier than previous years. As the successor to Note 4, the Note 5 still features a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla 4. The Note 5 sports latest Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop) and Exynos 7420 chipset. As for the battery life, the Note 5 battery is 3000 mAh, which is 220 mAh lower than the Note 4. What was inside physical structures? Let’s see how TechMD tear down the Note 5.

▪ Pry up the charging port flex connector, RF signal cable connectors and a connector underneath as shown in the below picture to release the motherboard.
The video author did not tear down further, however, as you can see, the Galaxy Note 5 looks similar to the S6 Edge from inside, let’s take the S6 Edge’s teardown process as an example to finish the “full disassembly”.
5. Remove the battery.
6. Remove the small components.
7. Release the Note 5 charging port assembly.
